This door takes a great spring/summer angling shelter and extends its utility long into the autumn. Angling brollies are great for short sessions in the darker months and for when you are moving from place to place. They are very easy to set up and pack down.

Add an Outkast overwrap and you might never go home again! Double-insulated and fully waterproof, the combination of wrap, brolly, and door is top league angling protection. You don’t have to add it to the full brolly system with door either – it works almost as well as an addition to the open-sided summer umbrella version, too. The overwrap replicates the useful features found on the brolly itself, like the rod strap and the versatile door with its options of fabric, transparent, or mosquito mesh panels. It also includes Chub’s Back Draft Ventilation panel at the back, which will feed directly through to a similar panel in the umbrella for uninterrupted airflow.

Like the system as a whole, it’s the highly waterproof nature of this overwrap which will be found most useful. Able to support a 10m high narrow column of water without leaking, the 10,000mm hydrostatic head rating of the wrap fabric is impressive. The outside world can rage a storm all it likes but you’ll be snug and warm inside with your bedchair and your essential accessories. It adds just 3.5kg to your tackle weight and at 1.3m x 2.7m x 1.95m (H x W x D) it fits snugly on the brolly.
