How To Tie The Perfect Dobbing Pole Rig!

At this time of year when the water starts to cool, carp and f1s have a tendency to shoal and will only feed for short periods of the day. When the fishing is like this there is no better tactic on commercial fisheries then dobbing! This involves fishing a single visual hookbait such as bread, sweetcorn and maggots slightly off bottom and trying several different spots until you find a shoal of fish, and it needs to be seen to be believed how deadly this rig can be! For this weeks AD Blog, we show you how to tie the perfect dobbing rig, so you can see how devestating this rig is for yourself this winter!

What you need...

Step 1: Trim 3 small sections of silicone and thread onto chosen rig line

Step 2: Thread pole float onto rig and secure in place with silicone

Step 3: Leave roughly 3ft Above the pole float and tie a figure of 8 loop knot

Step 4: Secure 2 no.9 micro cubes between the float and loops to act as back shot

Step 5: Select desired rig length and tie small loop knot

Step 6: Spread no.10 micro cubes evenly along the entire rig between loop and float

Step 7: Take your hooklink and attach to rig using the loop to loop method

Step 8: Hook your chosen bait and you are ready to fish!

Check out the video below to see how devestating this method can be!
