Being able to manoeuvre your baits into inaccessible places can sometimes be the difference between a bite and a blank and, in this 12m pole, Cygnet has come up with the perfect way to do so.

Obviously it only works at short range (up to 12 metres) but for poking bait and rigs under marginal bushes or even discreetly doing the same to a canal far bank, this is ideal.

The pole is similar to one that would be used by the match angling fraternity, but it features a sturdy thread at the tip end, to which the spoon section screws on. This large spoon has been designed with a flat base in the bottom part of the ‘bowl’, making it a lot steadier when shipping out. The spoon also boasts a universal 3/8inch BSF thread so can be fitted on to other spoons, handles and even landing-net poles.

Cygnet Baiting Pole-2 There’s also a chunky net float to further make this a doddle. The whole lot together is designed to be shipped out along the water, not lifted clear of it, and as a result you can load up the spoon with quite a bit of bait if you choose too.

I absolutely love this and on one of my waters it will be perfect for reaching a few spots that cannot be cast to but can be fished safely with one of these.

In fact, I like this so much that I’m keeping hold of this one for some long-term testing. No really, I am!

Cygnet Baiting Pole-3

Cygnet Baiting Pole Our new 12m Baiting Pole comes as a 7 section put-over carbon composite pole that stores within itself, combines with our Baiting Spoon and Baiting Spoon Float to deliver devastatingly accurate baiting anywhere within 12meters of you! Simply load the tray with your hookbait and/or feed and assemble the pole as you float it out.

The tray is supported on the surface by the high density foam float until you reach your required spot. Then simply tip your bait and hookbait in. Be sure to slacken your line so the hookbait doesnt swing in towards you and away from the loose feed. To return, simply disassemble the pole as you retrieve it. Invaluable for getting under trees and tight to margins and features. Plus, you can cast to another bank, retrieve your rig and ship it out using the baiting pole from there!

Cygnet Baiting Pole-4

Cygnet Baiting Spoon The business end of any baiting pole; our Baiting Spoon will fit most landing net poles or storm rods via its 3/8 BSF thread. The spoon features an optional partition to keep wet bait separate from hookbaits, foam and PVA.

Cygnet Baiting Spoon Float Our Baiting Spoon Float effortlessly supports the heaviest of payloads in any baiting spoon arrangement. It is held in place by locating the 3/8 BSF thread of your spoon through the smaller hole and screwing on to your baiting pole/stick. Then simply adjust the pull cord for a snug fit.
