Wednesday Review... Aqua Black Series Luggage
This has to be on of the most complete luggage systems ever, with a huge combination of modular combinations available. Each piece is designed with one or more of the other in mind, with several smaller items combining with larger ones to create the ultimate luggage ‘system’ and we’ve been hugely impressed right from the get-go.
As you’d expect with Aqua, quality is in abundance, with trusted Cordura featuring throughout. We love the use of black detailing and zips, hence the name, which is a break from the bog-standard green.
In terms of looks, this stuff is absolutely spot-on, it’s also built to last and will cope with the rigours of modern carp angling.
However, it’s in its modular system that the Black Series really impresses. Okay, so most luggage companies produce multiple items that, I guess, can be used in conjunction with one another, but the Black Series is specifically designed to do so.
I love the fact that on the back of every box there is a matrix showing exactly what products work with which - so literally no stone has been left unturned by Aqua in its design and presentation.
I spoke to my old mate Andy ‘Chod’ Cadwallader at Aqua and explained that while maybe not every item in the range suited my fishing, plenty of them would, especially in combination. This is the beauty of the entire system - you choose the items to suit you and then combine them as necessary.
