Exciting Angling Opportunity: Best Carp Fishing In Europe

Have you ever dreamed of Fishing in France or Europe and not known where to begin? Have you ever wanted to catch the hippo-sized carp?

Such specimen carp are available in European waters but many anglers want to have somebody with a ton of experience on hand to point you in the right direction before paying out for a fishing holiday abroad. If you fancy a French social carp trip that will challenge your angling skills, then this article is for you.

Border Crossing, The Tackle, The Venue, Setting Up, Finding Carp, Catching Carp, Where to Fish, Making the Most of Your Money: It can become a minefield of an operation if you're not sure where to start.

I have recently been made aware of The Carp Tuition Socials. These fishing events offer you to meet new people (some of the leading names within the carp industry), whilst learning some of the edges that can change the success of a session.

Carp Fishing in France

Roo Abbott and Steve Hill are embarking on an exciting venture to lead exclusive socials across some of the most stunning and rewarding lakes within France and soon to span across the depths of European waters, to help anglers of all abilities bank the huge European carp we all dream of catching and share the true magic that these waters can offer.

Dream Carp Holidays in Europe

Fishing in Europe offers itself to creating magical experiences for carp anglers, there is something rather quite special about embarking on a journey abroad to a lake giving yourself the perfect opportunity to bank some of the most sought-after and largest species that we all dream of banking.

Roo Abbott, Steve Hill and their team have created Carp Tuition Socials, to help create and share those magical experiences with others, forging your own stories, memories and moments of fishing some of the most breathtaking lakes Europe has to offer.

Steve and Roo have dedicated themselves to carp angling throughout Europe and now they are starting a journey to help anglers take on awesome venues, help develop their angling skills and confidence to fish for big carp or simply help others gain the knowledge to fish outside their comfort zone all within a fun and social setting.

Expert Angling Guidance

Not only do these trips get you fishing in France, but you will receive expert guidance. The trips will be led by two prominent figures within the carp industry to date recognised for their social media presence and extremely impressive track records of catches both within the UK and Europe, Roo and Steve are not only two of the most approachable gents within the industry but two of the most impressive specimen carp anglers out there today.

Roo Abbott needs no introduction as a household fan favourite within the industry, he has over twenty years of European angling under his belt as proven by his bank ratio of landing carp over a total of four different countries above the phenomenal 60lb mark and the biggest weighing in at an impressive 72lb.

Roo’s knowledge of European waters is second to none. Especially within the colder months as the world of carp angling feels to slow down as the frost sets in and waters become quieter, this is when Roo comes into his own. His knowledge of natural bait usage within the colder months is unrivalled often banking fish in times that would feel impossible to your everyday specimen angler.

Roo also specialises in boat usage on vast waters that provide some of the most challenging concepts. Roo has an exceptional skillset within carp angling and will be there throughout the trip to help you bank the carp of your dreams.

Steve Hill is a knowledgeable and accomplished angler of both UK and European waters Steve has an abundance of skills in his arsenal.

Steve has banked countless numbers of 40lbs, 50lbs and 60lbs carp across European waters but his most impressive being his PB mirror from Parco Del Brenta weighing in at a back-breaking 76lb 15oz caught in extremely challenging conditions in an eerily cold February.

Steve chose the right tactics at the right moment something that he does time and time again whether that be fishing his syndicate, a big open French lake or a busy UK day ticket, Steve’s knowledge of carp angling is invaluable and he will be on board all week to share his breadth of knowledge in all aspects of European carp angling.

Tournament and Team England Competition Caster, Mark Armstrong will also be on board week-long to help improve both distance and accuracy with casting for the week. Helping you reach distances you’ve never reached before.

Mark’s accomplishment of being in the top 5 distance casters in the UK, (hitting 255 yards) will certainly come in handy on the French fishing lakes. Whether that being spodding at extreme distances or casting up to snaggy areas under those overhanging trees with confidence which we all know carp love to cruise and chill out in. Mark's guidance and tutoring will help you achieve these goals throughout the week as casting can often be one of the most valuable skills within angling.

How To Fish for Carp in France

Throughout the week expect to see expert tuition and guidance.

  • Rig Tying and Bait Presentation (Why to use them and advantages of using them in certain situations)
  • Watercraft and spot finding (searching for the perfect spot to present your rigs and bait and what signs to look for to show a carp’s presence)
  • Preparing for Success (setting up your swim to make it more efficient and comfortable, also ensuring your swim is set up properly to deal with nighttime bites)
  • Bait boats (Correct usage and application of bait boats and how to make them the most effective tool within your angling)
  • FishFinders (how to correctly use and read them to find carp)
  • Boat Usage (How to correctly and safely use a boat to your advantage when fishing at extreme distances)

These are just a small few of the areas that will be covered by Steve and Roo throughout the week, if there’s any area that you can think of then these guys will have you covered. The knowledge and skills you will take away from the social will be astronomical.

Carp tuition socials will offer advice, guidance and tuition as both group sessions or on a one-to-one tuition basis on the bank throughout the week. These sessions will be given on an opt-in or out principal to allow anglers to get as much or as little involved with the tuition as they feel they need, this will allow anglers of all experiences to thoroughly enjoy their trips with Carp Tuition Socials and help you concentrate on the areas you feel you would need expert advice and guidance.
