AD365 Episode 6
AD365 sixth episode is now available to watch on ADTV. So much has happened since the last episode back in January, its been a busy few months! The AD offices have welcomed a multitude of guests from the angling world, the winner of the Drennan Cup has been announced and the ADTV boys have been out on the bank in sun, rain and snow bringing you top quality content.
Angling Royalty
We like to give a big welcome to all our guests that visit AD HQ, but the past few months have seen us roll out the red carpet for the arrival of two very special guests. First up was Nash’s Mr. Eurobanx himself, Alan Blair, who had the pleasure of being Hassan’s first guest on our new series of videos ‘The Catch Up’. After a trip to the AD Norwich Store, Alan joined Hassan on the bank and in typical in-and-out Eurobanx style, was immediately into a fish down the edge, much to the delight of Hassan who at this point hadn’t caught a carp in 2019! To round off a box office day Alan joined Hassan for a very popular Facebook Live.
It was always going to be difficult to top that, but Hassan pulled it out of the bag welcoming international guest and Instagram superstar, Claudia Darga. Claudia also joined Hassan for The Catch Up and spoke very honestly about her unique rise in the angling world, before joining Hassan once again for a Facebook, and for the first time Instagram, Live feed. Sandwiched between the two broadcasts was the real reason Claudia was in the UK, she was in pursuit of her first UK carp and managed to land it in just thirteen minutes!
Specimen Segment
Firstly, huge congratulations to local boy, Darryn Stolworthy on lifting the Drennan Cup, the victory was fully deserved after a really impressive haul of specimen fish throughout the past season. Not fully satisfied with winning the cup, both Darryn and fishing buddy Justin Grapes have started 2019 with an impressive haul of spring tench, perhaps we’ll see back-to-back Drennan Cups.
Whilst were on the topic of tench, Hassan’s favourite angler Phil Spinks has been out on the bank with Widget and Chris filming a ton of content this spring, the highlight of which was the infamous sexing tench clip, which provided hours of entertainment in the office.
New Faces & Farewells
AD365 featured our latest recruitment video in which AD staff from all sectors shared their experiences of working for the company, AD is growing rapidly and as such were able to offer new opportunities across multiple facets of the business, so if you fancy turning your hobby into a profession keep an eye on the ‘Jobs & Recruitment’ section of our website.
On a slightly sombre note, we had to say goodbye to our office pets who outgrew their tank, our resident carp, roach and tench have moved on to pastures new and have set up home in the pond of one lucky staff member.
