Chris Starling sent us this picture in of his Dad, who landed this lovely 24lb 8oz Common, the fish fell to his home made ‘stinkys’ hook bait. We say… Cracking fish and right result on your home made baits!

Here’s Lee Stirland with his first ever Barbel! The fish weighed in at 10lb 4oz and was caught in a short overnighter on the River Trent at Newark. Great fish Lee, a double figure Barbel is a super specimen!
