If you are going to go afloat then you should do it properly. Our good friends at Advanced Carp Fishing take a look at the new inflatable boats from Fox.

Although there are not many venues that allow anglers to use boats in the UK, you can use them on a lot of waters if you travel abroad and fish.

Anytime you take to water in a boat you are taking a risk with your life, so it makes perfect sense to do it properly and any tempts to try and do it on the cheap is simply way beyond stupid.

The Fox FX200 and the FX290 inflatable boats are Fox’s first steps into the inflatable boat market and it has produced two very serious craft. If you are spending a reasonable amount of time fishing in France on some of the vast inland seas, such as Cassien, where the easiest way to get to your swim is often by boat, then the FX290 is ideal. The FX200 is more suited for smaller waters for baiting up and landing Carp that are stuck In weed or snags.

Fox FX200 The smaller of the two models, the FX200 is perfect for the short session angler who requires a small, stealthy boat. It is the ideal craft for baiting-up trips and it is also perfect for going out and freeing hooked fish from weed beds and snags.

Fox FX290 This is the larger of the two models, which is aimed primarily at the angler who is fishing longer sessions and needs to cart more tackle to his distant swim.
