The Discovery MRP rods are the perfect allrounders, offering a host of features to get excited about.

Its powerful multi-range blank action extends the pressure that your rod can take when a fish bites. To help, the Advanta MRP is made from low resin 30T carbon blanks. This high-quality carbon fibre perfectly matched the action for carp angling with a slim, lightweight feel.

When attaching your reel of choice, the MRP sports a 1k Weave section above the reel seat which tightens the bond of the carbon blank so there are a strong stiffness and reliability in the section likely to gain the most action. In addition, the Discovery rod uses a Fuji black 18mm DPS reel seat to ensure rod and reel security.

The MRP rod also ensures the rod tips and eyes that take the most pressure when battling a stubborn carp stay strong as these are built with seaguide black ABTDG double leg guides. These guides offer stainless steel liner and frame to last you many sessions to come. All models include a Seaguide black HBXALST anti-frap tip guide too, again with stainless steel liner and frame for durability.

There are 3 different rod lengths available in the Discovery MRP range, all of which are great for medium to long casting. Choose from the 10ft, 12ft or 13ft. When it comes to guide patterns on these models, the 12ft and 13ft sport a 50mm guide pattern, whereas the smaller 10ft houses 40mm guides.  All model options come as two-rod sections for easy storage in your rod bag. The 10 and 12 footer offers the test curve options of 3lbs or 3.25lb. The 12ft rod also comes in a 3.5lbs option, as does the 13ft rod.

There are some great final touches to this Advanta rod too so you can show off your new rod when at the bank with pride. The Discovery MRP comes with a full shrink wrap handle with a lower flare so you can handle the rod with perfect grip and a laser etched butt cap to finish off the rod with an Advanta look.
