Full coverage and a lightweight, two-rib design make the Chub Vizor Lite bivvy a worthy candidate for the angler looking to save weight without sacrificing space.

Set up the Vizor Lite and it's clear to see that there is plenty of room. Designed to fit a large bedchair yet remain lightweight, Chub has improved the footprint by altering the orientation of the ribs. Rather than originating from one solid fixing, each rib is separate to create a concertina effect when packed down. Two main ribs hold the structure and give the angler the ability to push a bed chair well back into the bivvy, giving more living space; an ideal aspect when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Once all the pole are put together, a unique four-point tension strap holds the shape. The door panel features two screen options - clear and mozzie mesh. The double zips also allow for a letterbox-style orientation.



At the rear of the bivvy sits a ventilation panel that allows cool air to pass through the shelter on hot days, while the peak at the front prevents driving rain soaking your groundsheet.

The whole structure is made from Chub's Climatex material that is both waterproof and breathable, which prevents it from expanding and contracting as the temperature changes.

With a heavy-duty groundsheet and a peg bag supplied, the full package weighs around 3.5kg and, thank to its long shape, is easy to pack onto a barrow.
