Cod Fishing From The Beach & Sea Fishing Update

It had been a little while since our last beach fishing video so we put that right with this episode, with a short catch up and then some Cod fishing filmed a couple of weeks back, when me and good friend Justin Grapes headed into deepest darkest Suffolk to see if we could put a few Codling on camera.

Reports had been good and with a big tide and a decent 'sea on' conditions were spot on so we headed to the mark full of confidence. Armed with a mixture of different baits, including fresh lug, black lug, squid and some frozen crab, big baits and pennel rigs were going to be the order of the day.

We arrived around 7.30pm and were soon on the beach, heading south across the shingle we past numerous anglers on the way, who obviously had the same as us, to try and beach a winter Codling.

With high water at around 10.30 we'd be fishing a few hours up and then an hour or so down, hoping to pick fish up around the high water mark. By 8.00 we had the first baits in the water and sat watching the tips with eager anticipation.

To find out exactly how we got on and to perhaps find out a few tips along the way, watch this latest installment, from the waters edge.
