In the autumn and winter months when the weather cools, many anglers turn their attention to Pike and Predator fishing, with the Pike normally willing to feed on even the coldest of winter days.
Here at From The Waters Edge we like to keep our content relevant for the time of year so we fancied capturing a bit of Pike fishing footage, but unfortunately what Steve knows about Pike fishing can be written on the back of a postage stamp, so we acquired the services of good friend and Pike fishing supremo Oliver Harper.
Oliver is no stranger to big Pike and has spent many a winter targeting this hard fighting predator, normally on his own boat on the Norfolk broads, but also from many different local gravel pits.
For this episode we head out on the bank with him to try and catch a fish or two on ledgered deadbaits, with the aim of picking his brain throughout the session and to see exactly how he tackles up for his winter Pike fishing campaign.
To find out exactly how we got on and to perhaps find out a few tips along the way, watch this latest installment, from the waters edge.
