Fishing The Banjo Feeder For Carp & F1's

For this session we took the camera's down to Barford Lakes, with the aim of catching a few Carp and F1's on the Preston Banjo Feeder!

Now in the winter months the Banjo feeder can really come into it's own, working on a similar principle to the method feeder it offers the angler and the fish something slightly different!

It enables you to fish a smaller, neater pile of bait effectively, it literally offers the fish 'dinner' on a plate! This can be particularly effective in the cooler months, for a number of reasons... the first being the fish often don't require/look for as much food, the second being they often feed less aggressively, so they won't necessarily want to attack a large method feeder.

All in all the Banjo feeder is an excellent addition to any anglers armory and is well worth a try on those harder winter days. If you haven’t tried the Banjo yet, then get out there and give it ago, you maybe pleasantly surprised!

Anyway, to see how we got on in the session and to see how to effectively fish the Preston Banjo Feeder then simply watch the two part video below! To watch in HD simply click the little cog in the YouTube player and select 720p or 1080p.
