With day permits available from the Great Yarmouth & Norfolk County Angling Association, you can cast your line and try your luck at catching some of the river's plentiful fish. Season tickets are also available. The Association has permission from local landowners to allow you access to the river. So grab your gear and head on over to the River Yare for a relaxing day of fishing!

Between the Boards and Langley Dyke, there are two tracks that lead to the GYNCAA stretch of the River Yare. From Bradshaw Loke, one can access pegs 61 to 115 and from Monks Loke, one can access pegs 116 to 170. Accessible platforms are available on most pegs to allow as many anglers as possible to easily fish the river. However, when entering or exiting the platform, always use the rear edge.
